Citrus Park registering for little league

Citrus Park Little League is registering players for its T-ball, softball and baseball teams for the fall season from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Children ages 5 to 16 who live in the Citrus Park area are eligible. The season runs Sept. 14 to Nov. 16. To register, a parent or legal guardian must bring a copy of the child's birth certificate and recent utility bill. Cost is $65 for the first child, $55 for the second and $45 for the third. The park is on the west side of Gunn Highway south of Ehrlich Road; look for the board room above the concession stand. Other registration dates are 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Aug. 17 and 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 18. For information, call 920-3250.

Sign up for New Tampa Little League

CROSS CREEK -- Three signups for the New Tampa Little League are scheduled at 18050 Kinnan St. Register from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Aug. 17 and 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 14.

Baseball divisions for children ages 5 to 15 include T-ball, coach pitch, minors, majors, juniors and seniors. Divisions for fast-pitch softball for girls ages 7 to 15 include minors, majors and juniors.

Please bring proof of residency, the child's health insurance, physician's contact information and birth certificate. Cost is $55 per child for T-ball; $75 per child for all other divisions.

NTLL is looking for volunteers to help with concessions, field maintenance, fundraisers and other essential duties. To get information or to volunteer, call 994-0074.

Wanted: soccer players, volunteers

KEYSTONE -- Come out to register for Hillsborough County United Soccer Club's fall recreation season.

Returning players may sign up from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Signups for new and returning players will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 17 and Aug. 24. All sessions will be in the Sickles High School cafeteria, 7950 Gunn Highway.

Children ages 4 to 17 are eligible to play. Please bring a copy of the child's birth certificate, completed registration form and notarized medical release form (download both from the HCU Web site). Cost is $115, $110 for additional siblings.

New Tampa soccer registration set

TAMPA PALMS -- The New Tampa Soccer Association is holding two registration sessions for the fall season.

Signup for recreational soccer is from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 16 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Compton Park Clubhouse, 16101 Compton Drive. There will be boys, girls and coed teams. Children must be at least 4 to play. Cost ranges from $85-$120, depending upon age group.

New players must bring health insurance carrier name and policy number and a copy of their birth certificate, passport, certificate of naturalization or military identification card.
