TAMPA - Police have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing Friday as 25-year-old Bryan Steven Cerezo of 4207 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Tampa.

They have not found a 42-year-old man sought in connection with the killing.

Police responded to a fight just before 3 p.m. Friday at 4408 N Hubert Ave. They say the suspect tried to break up a fight between his 15-year-old daughter and her friends. Cerezo, the boyfriend of one of the girls, began arguing with the suspect and tried to punch him. The suspect took a knife from his belt, stabbed Cerezo and fled, police say.
