NUMBER OF STUDENTS IN GRADUATING CLASS: 381 SIZE OF CLASS WHEN IT STARTED HIGH SCHOOL: 516 CO-VALEDICTORIANS: Madison Duryea Harding and Mirna Turina

SALUTATORIAN: Leslie Olson

SPEAKERS: Principal Barbara Thornton, language arts teacher Robert Eliason, senior class president Emily Morrow, Student Council president Meredith McKenna, Harding, Turina and Olson

BEST QUOTE: "I'm sure there are things we wish we could have done, but at least we can look back on these years and say, "Wow, I actually survived,' " Morrow said.

LENGTH OF CEREMONY: 90 minutes

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Ninety percent of the students plan to attend college, and the class as a whole has received more than $1-million in state and local scholarships, not including awards from colleges.

HOW MANY ARE GOING INTO MILITARY: 6 percent

HOW MANY ARE GOING TO COLLEGE: 90 percent

SCENES AND SIGHTS: Speakers had a hard time holding onto to their notes thanks to a brisk breeze. A few graduates spoke to their families during the ceremony via cell phones. And all of the grads gave the principal a symbolic "piece of their hearts," dropping satin hearts into a wicker basket for her during the presentation of diplomas.

A KODAK MOMENT: Decked in a brand new razorback costume, the mascot marched onto the field and struck a victory pose.

CLASS GIFT: A razorback mascot costume for the school and a made-to-order personalized stuffed pig, just for Thornton.
