BEST QUOTE: "Leadership is action, not position. It doesn't matter how fast you run with the football if you're going in the wrong direction," graduate Katelyn Dunn said in her leadership address.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 64 summa cum laude graduates; 28 magna cum laude graduates; $2-million in college scholarships.

HOW MANY ARE GOING TO COLLEGE: Ninety-two percent

HOW MANY ARE GOING INTO MILITARY: 10

MOST TOUCHING SCENES: Graduate Nichole Fayad, who has leukemia, being wheeled to the stage by her guidance counselor to get her diploma; a standing ovation for graduate Callie McBride, whose father was killed Saturday in a motorcycle accident.

ANY SPECIAL SECURITY: Six campus police officers, two school resource officers and about 70 staff members armed with walkie talkies.

A KODAK MOMENT: Graduate Phong Nguyen kicking his heels in the air as he walked across the stage to receive his diploma.

CLASS GIFT: A set of inspirational signs for the school; a cash gift to the band for its trip to the 2005 Rose Parade in Pasadena, Calif.
