TUESDAY: Automakers release sales figures for January; Commerce Department reports on construction spending for December; fourth-quarter earnings from Google Inc., HCA Inc., Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Yum Brands Inc.

WEDNESDAY: Fourth-quarter earnings from Allstate Corp., Amazon.com Inc., Anheuser-Busch Cos., Boeing Co. and CVS Corp.; Federal Reserve expected to raise interest rates a quarter percent.

THURSDAY: Labor Department reports on productivity and costs; Freddie Mac reports on mortgage rates; nation's largest retailers announce sales figures for January; fourth-quarter earnings from Gillette Co., PepsiCo Inc.
