HUDSON - An armed man robbed the Circle K convenience store at 15831 U.S. 19 early Wednesday and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, the Pasco Sheriff's Office reported.

The man walked to the counter about 4 a.m., pointed a black handgun at the clerk and told her to open the registers.

"Give me the money," he said. "Hurry up."

Afterward, he fled the store and ran north, the report said.

A deputy who viewed the store's surveillance tape said the robber was about 25 years old, wearing blue jeans, white sneakers, a dark hooded sweat shirt and a ball cap.
