PERFORMING ARTS

THE COMEDY-FARCE "NO SEX, PLEASE, WE'RE BRITISH' continues through Aug. 14 at the Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Shows are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 1:30 p.m. some Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. Sundays. Doors open two hours before each show for cash bar and included buffet. CENTER STAGE THEATRE & DANCE ACADEMY will present "The Big Audition," a summer camp musical by students, at 7 p.m. Saturday at the studio, 5201 U.S. 19, New Port Richey (former Angel Cabaret Theatre). Tickets are $7 in advance, $8 at the door. Call 815-0100.

THE SOFA KINGS and the Harry Dash band will perform at a breast cancer benefit show from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bourbon Street Concert Club, 4331 U.S. 19, New Port Richey. The $5 admission will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. There will also be a silent auction.

VISUAL ARTS

"FRAGILE FLORIDA: WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS BY TAYLOR IKIN' continues through Sept. 11 at Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs (a quarter mile west of U.S. 19). The paintings are of environmentally protected lands. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays (admission $5 adults, $4 seniors; free to children and students); and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays (admission free).

"ART ANNUAL 2005' continues through Sept. 2 at Pasco Arts Council's art center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Admission is free.

BIRD LOVER JERRI SOLICITO's artwork created from bird feathers arranged on canvas continues through Aug. 31 in the Upstairs Gallery at Pasco Arts Council's art center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. Also in the exhibit are watercolors, oils and charcoals done by Leonard Solicito. Most of the works are for sale. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

AUDITIONS AND WORKSHOPS

A WORKSHOP IN EGG TEMPERA PAINTING will be led by Gainor Roberts from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 20 and 21 at Pasco Arts Council's art center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. The fee, including materials, is $160; enrollment is limited. Call 845-7322.

STAGE WEST COMMUNITY PLAYHOUSE will hold auditions for the musical Finian's Rainbow at 7 p.m. today and 1 p.m. Saturday at the theater, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Roles are for racially diverse adults, young adults and children. Those who audition should take sheet music for a prepared song. An accompanist will be provided. Production dates are Nov. 3-20. LOOK AHEAD

CENTENNIAL OPERA GROUP will show a video of Antonin Dvorak's Rusalka at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Centennial Park Library, 5740 Moog Road, Holiday (1.2 miles east of U.S. 19). The opera is based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid, but with a different ending.

THE REGGAE BAND TRINITY 7 and calypso artist Lord Saint will perform from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Brooksville Band Shell Bash at the Hernando Park band shell one block north of the courthouse in downtown Brooksville. The free event will also include a classic car show, food and beverage vendors. Call (352) 848-0177 for information.

BROADWAY THEATRE OF TAMPA will present the comedy musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at 8 p.m. Aug. 12 and 13 and at 2 p.m. Aug. 14 in the Forum at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill.
