TAMPA - Dalshon Walton, the King High School senior who was shot to death Nov. 17 outside the McDonald's near campus, will be laid to rest this weekend.

Walton's wake will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Centre Point Community Church, 8610 Temple Terrace Highway in Temple Terrace. The funeral service will be at the church at noon Saturday.

Talisha Eldridge, Walton's mother, said the wake and service are open to any of Walton's relatives or friends.

Walton, 17, died at St. Joseph's Hospital shortly after the shooting. Also shot but not seriously injured were 16-year-old Antonio Harris, a former King High student; King High ninth-grader Damian Lamar Bowie, 15; and 19-year-old Alexander McKinnie, who isn't a student.

Authorities arrested Otis Lorenzo Neal, an 18-year-old former Middleton High student with a lengthy criminal history of drugs and violence. They say he was the lone gunman.

He is charged with one count of second-degree murder and three counts of aggravated battery with a firearm. Neal is being held without bail in the county jail.
