Classes help you clean up your act

Decluttering expert and author Michelle Passoff will offer two classes on organizing and decluttering at the Interbay-Glover Family YMCA, 4411 S Himes Ave., Tampa.

- "Lighten Up! Free Yourself from Clutter" will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 20. This class teaches how to create a clutter-cleaning action plan, learn skills to manage paper, clothes and other "stuff," and convert clutter cleaning from a chore to a tool for accomplishment.

- "Create Your Legacy, Not a Mess" will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 3. Participants learn how to organize their possessions, memorabilia and estates to create the lives they want, share those lives with their families and ease the burden on their heirs.

Cost for either class is $45. YMCA members can register in advance, at the Y or online at www.tampaymca.org click on "branch links," then on "Interbay-Glover". Nonmembers can register in advance at the Y or at the door on the day of the course.
