Big shows hit town

It's a Broadway kind of holiday season at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Chicago has shows on Friday and Saturday night. Four years ago, the revival of Bob Fosse's down-and-dirty dance musical swept the Tony Awards, and it's been keeping the makers of fishnet hose, skimpy negligees, bowler hats and canes in business ever since. Tickets: $32-$50.

On Tuesday, a new musical inspired by a Barry Manilow hit song from the '70s opens a weeklong run. Copacabana, pictured here, stars Darcie Roberts as Lola the showgirl and Franc D'Ambrosio as Tony, a bartender from Brooklyn who has show business dreams of his own. Tickets: $25-$45. (727) 791-7400.
